Dear NUMBERS,
Are you enjoying the Lunar New Year holidays? This is Tammy, sharing the latest updates for January 2025. As we step into the new year, our team remains committed to building a more transparent and verifiable digital world!
As AI continues to reshape the creative industry, the need for clear provenance in digital assets has never been more critical. The boundary between freely generated AI content and copyright-violated digital assets is becoming increasingly blurred. Tech editor this week highlighting how AI-generated content is unsettling for creatives. Creativity isn’t just about beautiful text or images—it represents the life experiences of humans. If we want to keep enjoying great films, music, and dramas, protecting creativity is a must. That’s why I believe Numbers Protocol is more important than ever.
One more exciting update I want to share is that we’re building a hybrid Numbers Protocol team that include both human and AI agents. As AI continues to reshape the digital landscape, this approach will strengthen our ability to protect content authenticity in the AI-driven future. AI agentic workflows will allow us to scale provenance verification, automate key processes, and ensure that digital assets maintain their credibility in an evolving ecosystem.

This week, Capture Eye officially went live on the website and . This marks a significant milestone in our mission to enable verifiable human content. By integrating Capture Eye, these platforms now provide a way to ensure that human-created photos come with clear provenance, reinforcing transparency in digital content creation.
Beyond the Capture Eye integration, I’m also proud to share that Numbers Protocol is now officially a member of the (INMA). This membership strengthens our collaboration with global leaders in the news media industry and helps drive innovation in digital media authenticity. As misinformation and fake AI news continue to pose growing challenges, our participation in INMA allows us to advocate for and develop better solutions for verifiable journalism.
You may have read this in previous summary letters, but I want to emphasise it again. Following the decision from our , we’re moving forward with expanding Numbers Protocol to the Base network. This decision reflects our ongoing commitment to making provenance tools more accessible and efficient for creators and businesses. I know some of you may wonder: Is DAO still relevant? It’s no longer the hottest buzzword, but the reason I want to highlight this again is that the decentralised spirit is what makes Numbers Protocol different from private or commercial platforms. The future we believe in is simple: creators should make decisions for themselves.
Looking ahead, our team will be joining in Hong Kong. As you know, this is one of the most influential events in the blockchain and Web3 industry, bringing together thought leaders, innovators, and policymakers. We are eager to participate and showcase how Numbers Protocol is driving real-world adoption of content provenance solutions. More details on our participation will be shared soon!
